“Relax, unwind and enjoy the Luangwa Valley at its best, during the Emerald Season. ...” March 2011 more guest feedback
This is an alternative way to enjoy the Luangwa scene - one of pure relaxation. Instead of waking with the dawn, you can enjoy a lie-in, lounge by the pool and generally recharge your batteries in the cool green of the Emerald Season. Lots of wildlife can be seen from the camp, from the elephants drinking in the lagoon to baboons that can keep you entertained for hours. Always keep your eyes peeled for treats to be spotted on the other side of the river - Thornicroft giraffe, hippos, lots of birds and if you are very lucky a leopard sneaking along the bank.
Of course when the temptation arises to enjoy typical safari activities you can go on game drives, walks or a sunset cruise. You only pay for activities that you actually go out on, offering you an even better value safari during this time of year.
