Safari Houses of Zambia Itinerary
Africa House Safari
A safari combining the South Luangwa with a visit to the historical Shiwa House – an exceptional and unusual experience. In Northern Zambia, situated between rugged hills and a scenic lake lies Shiwa N'gandu, the former Estate of Sir Stewart Gore Browne built in 1928. The house has recently been restored, by grandson Charlie and wife Jo, in keeping with the original style. The estate boasts a 1000 hectare game farm with 22 mammal species, fishing and birding on the lake, walks around the estate, horse trails and a visit to the Kapishya Hot Springs.
