Canoeing safaris in Mana Pools offer a truly immersive experience. As you paddle along the mighty Zambezi River, you’ll be surrounded by an incredible array of wildlife, from majestic elephants and hippos, to crocodiles, antelope, and a wide variety of bird species. And unlike other forms of safari, you’ll be at eye level with the animals, allowing you to fully appreciate them in their natural habitat.
This may sound rather daunting but don’t worry, you won’t be completely on your own! Our expert guides will be at the helm of this safari, ensuring your safety and providing you with fascinating insight into the park’s ecosystem and wildlife, all while you float along the legendary Zambezi River.
Our canoeing safaris perfectly complement our other activities as it gives a sense of adventure but at a slower pace, with an immeasurable sense of peace that comes with being on water, which you don’t get to experience when out on our walking safaris and game drives. You also have the option of choosing the time of day you would like to be out on the water, either a morning or afternoon excursion.
