A journey into the heart of Zambia
Zambia’s three stunning premier parks are all different. The lagoons and riverine woodland of the Luangwa, the escarpment and water experience of the Lower Zambezi, the miombo woodland and vast open plains of North Kafue are contrasting and all host exceptional game. The camps are small, personal and immaculately run.
The unspoiled South Luangwa National Park is one of natural jewels in Zambia’s crown, and home to one of the most varied collections of wildlife on the planet. The park is centered around the Luangwa River. Tena Tena Camp is in a prime location, the Nsefu Sector, abundant in wildlife.
The Lower Zambezi where Kutali and Chula Camps are situated, is a key national park of Zambia, lies between the rugged and dramatic Zambezi escarpment and the wide and spectacular Zambezi River. There are many channels, lagoons, sandbanks and islands along the river and then open plains, woodland and bush areas behind the riverine strip.
Kafue is Zambia’s oldest park and the second largest national park in the world (22400 sq. km and about the size of Wales) and yet it is not a park with a success story. For many years the park was mostly unvisited, and it is only recently that camps have started to develop. Musekese Camp and its sister camp Ntemwa-Busanga are situated in the northern region of the Kafue National Park, in the famed Busanga Plains area.

Being already on several Africa safari we thought that we have sawed it all. Zambia was beyond our expectations. Awesome wildlife, good knowledge of the guides and an amazing accommodation. We would highly recommend a visit to anyone who enjoys the combination of ruggedness and luxury.
This was my first time on Safari in Africa. I thought my Zambia safari experience was nothing short of perfect. I had such a lovely time that it seemed as if seeing the wonderful wildlife was a bonus! At each stage of my journey (even once my safaris were over) there was a representative from Robin Pope to guide me through the transition.
