Introducing Kujana Camp

As we celebrate 40 years of safari excellence, we are excited to introduce Kujana Camp, our newest camp in the heart of the Lower Zambezi, Zambia.
A Name Inspired by Discovery
Kujana Camp (pronounced “koo-JAH-nah“) takes its name from the Tonga word meaning “to discover.” Located on a private island beneath mature winterthorn trees, the camp overlooks a quiet channel of the Zambezi River in the renowned Discovery Channel area, one of the region’s most rewarding wildlife areas.
The name reflects both the camp’s location and our approach to safari travel. It represents the spirit of discovery that has shaped more than 40 years of creating exceptional safari experiences in South Luangwa and beyond, while also marking an exciting new chapter and region for us.
With just four safari tents accommodating a maximum of eight guests, Kujana offers a highly personal and exclusive experience. Guests can enjoy the privacy of their own viewing deck, the comfort of an en-suite bathroom, and modern conveniences including solar-powered amenities and an eco-friendly cooling system – all designed to help you relax and connect with the surrounding wilderness.
Where Land and Water Safaris Meet
The Lower Zambezi is renowned for its rich wildlife and dramatic scenery. Elephant and buffalo move across the floodplains, while lion and leopard inhabit the riverine woodlands. Antelope are abundant, and the river supports hippo and crocodile.
For bird enthusiasts, more than 350 recorded species make the area a highlight, while the dramatic backdrop of the Zambezi Escarpment creates exceptional opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing.
Guest can enjoy a combination of river and land-based safari experiences including game drives, walking safaris, boating, catch-and-release fishing, and birdwatching, all tailored to individual interests and wildlife opportunities.
Opening Offer
To celebrate our inaugural season, we are offering a special opening rate of USD 950 per person per night for stays in October – 15 November 2026. Park Costs of USD 110 per person per night apply.
