Baboons spend much time in grassland, feeding on grasses and seeds. But they move long distances, in search of all kinds of food. Being omnivorous, baboons also eat meat. And caterpillars are a rare treat. Fruits are a favourite, and when the fig tree bears fruit, the baboons eagerly stuff their cheeks with green juicy figs.
