Likoma Island lies off the eastern shore of Lake Malawi, just 7km from Mozambique and is 18km2. Within Likoma town, you can see the 3rd largest cathedral in central Africa, St Peter’s Cathedral, as well as immerse yourself in the local cultural, with the inhabitant of the island being mostly fisherman, from various Malawian tribes. Sandy beaches and crystal clear waters make it ideal from snorkeling, sailing or just soaking up the sun.
